 Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30 1991 is an American rapper and singer. He is known as his initials, NF, which can be spelled with the letter IF. Two EPs were released by Feuerstein I'm free (2012) [3and an EP self-titled in 2014. He signed to Capitol CMG. Mansion was the first album he released on a major label. The second album of his studio, Therapy Session, which was released on April 22, 2016 was a top 12 album in the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned several distinctions, which include the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF gained mainstream recognition in 2017 with Perception; the album peaked at the top of the charts in the United States and was certified platinum. Its third single, "Let You Down" was ranked at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and a top-ten international hit, The Search (2019) was his second album. The album also enjoyed the same commercial success. Feuerstein claimed that rap was a way to escape from his childhood. Feuerstein recorded songs on the Karaoke Machine and recorded his instrumentals with one mic and his raps in the other. On the 29th of November, 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. His debut single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt who produced the track and songwriter, appeared in the track. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and became interested in his music. His debut extended play I'm Free came out on May 2nd in 2012 by Feuerstein, with production assistance from Profitt. The album's tracklist included nine tracks that included "Alone". The EP also included an original version of Alone with Sean Simmonds. Xist teased that NF would be released however Feuerstein quit the label over an argument. NF production was postponed. NF was still a single featuring Shuree William "Only One", on the label’s compilation album Move Vol 1 On November 4 2013 he dropped the single "Beautiful Addiction". Profitt returned to the song, along with vocals performed by Brady Schmitz (vocals) and Danielle Swift (vocals).
